American Transcendentalist, Linda J. Ging, paints from joy unleashed and energized by that familiar human opposite: grief. Her works are only simple from a distance, and then for just a moment. Subtleties in Ging's surfaces and colors come to the fore, non-objective, vast, free, and suggest the open land and sky of her native, rural Kansas.
